Resumo: |
This dissertation is the continuation of a previous research work, composed in the form of a documentary called “A História do Cine Theatro Central de Irati” in the year 2014. This production tells the story of a cinema founded in Irati-PR in 1920 by the polish João Wasilewski, a man in love with the 7th art, who kept his showroom running for sixty-two years, from 1920 to 1982, date of his death. After watching the documentary and the discussion provided by the constituted group, we conclude that there is a need to expand in a critical and analytical way various dimensions and historical perspectives that the documentary provides. In this direction, we present a proposal of research in the field of History seeking to problematize the historical specificities that implied in the constitution of the cinema and of all the technology implemented as well as to analyze the different sociability’s engendered throughout its operation. In addition, we reflected about the importance of this cinema as cultural patrimony of our city, but, for political reasons, it was not recognized in its time, being turned into an appliance store. The historicity of this cinema, its founder; the sociability’s engendered and the discuss about its patrimony are central points of analysis that this dissertation approaches, seeking to give historical visibility to the population, who throughout the 20th century had the opportunity to experience all stages of silent, p&b, then sonorous and color, encouraging to think how Cine Theatro Central, has become a social meeting point in the city of Irati, according to the documentary. |
