Resumo: |
Innovation has competitive advantages for organizations, and in the public service, innovative policies guarantee the democratic participation of society and the improvement of services provided to citizens. In an educational context, innovation brings new pedagogical practices and as a consequence improvement in teaching. One of the main innovative practices in this field is the use of Information and Communication Technologies by teachers in teaching practices. In this scenario, this research had as objective to analyze the main factors that determine the adoption of Information and Communication Technologies in its teaching practices, at the state schools of the city of Guarapuava. For this, a research was classified as descriptive, survey and quantitative approach. The data collection was transversal, collected between October and November of 2016, using a semistructured questionnaire, applied to 319 teachers working in the state schools of the city of Guarapuava. Data analysis was done through descriptive statistics and exploratory factor analysis. As a result, it was found a high rate of utilization of the technologies with the students, as well as resources available in the Portal Dia a Dia Educação and Portal do Professor web sites. As suggestions for improvements pointed out by teachers for an effective use of the technologies in the classroom are the availability of more equipment, the updating of the equipment already available and the offer of courses and training aimed at the use. The factors that determine the adoption of technological resources in teaching practices are the relative advantage of its adoption, the compatibility with the work already developed, the perception of ease and mastery in the use of technology, the visibility that its adoption brings, the image, and results of the using. The factors that most related to the adoption of technologies are the relative advantage and the ease and mastery in the use of technology, thus demonstrating the need for constant trainings and offers of courses for teachers, to guarantee an effective use of technologies of information and communication with the students, an improvement, also pointed out by the teachers studied. The identification of the use of Information and Communication Technologies by teachers contributes to the discussions of pedagogical practices and the efficiency of public education, necessary in a context of constant technological changes in society. |
