Resumo: |
This research analyzes the relationship between displacements and knowledge throughout history, with emphasis on the eighteenth century , in the phenomenon known as Grand Tour, specifically in the trip made by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe to Italy in 1786. It was aimed here to understand the knowledge acquired by Goethe throughout his journey through the European context of Lifelong Learning (LLL), distinguishing Educational processes and Learning processes, and its implications for the Goethean scientific thought and legacy, based on Goethe’s work, Italian Journey. In order to make this paper feasible, it was used the Historical Heuristic, Critical and Hermeneutic Method and the Goethean Phenomenology, patterned on the analysis of the studied work. In the end, it was found that Goethe was directly influenced by the carried out displacement, an informal learning process, and all his scientific, cultural and literary legacy share a common source, which in the author’s own words, was more important than al his years of formal education, that is, the journey. |
