Resumo: |
The present dissertation is a reflection around gender diversity in the Brazilian political scene. This theme has become the title of several claims in the last elections through collectives, advertising campaigns and laws that seek to encourage greater participation of women in eligible seats in Brazil. As a result, the present research seeks to understand the experiences of women candidates in their respective electoral campaigns, whether or not elected. The objective is to analyze the motivations and experiences that women lived during the electoral campaign through obtained reports. Therefore, I conducted interviews with six (6) candidates for eligible political positions and we guided our arguments, mainly referring to gender, within a theoretical framework. Finally, this study points out important contributions to greater gender diversity in politics, but which are not effectively reflected in the occupation of these positions. |
