Resumo: |
Studies of the intra and interspecific reproductive aspects in tomato are of fundamental importance considering that they make it possible to maximize the success rates of the artificial crosses and to allow genes of agronomic interest present in wild species to be exploited by breeding programs. Basic research that provides the discovery of new biological functions present in interspecific variability and that corroborate with the development and selection of genotypes that best adapt to certain environmental conditions should also be the objective of studies. The objective of this work was to study the reproductive aspects of the interspecific acrosses, physiological components and genetic divergence of accesses of species and interspecific hybrids of tomato, thus generating basic information that can contribute to the programs of genetic improvement. For realization of intra and interspecific crosses were used nine parentes, with seven wild: Solanum pimpinellifolium access ‘AF 26970’, Solanum galapagense access ‘LA-1401’, Solanum peruvianum access ‘AF 19684’, Solanum chilense access ‘LA-1967’, Solanum habrochaites var. hirsutum access ‘PI-127826’, Solanum habrochaites var. glabratum access ‘PI-134417’ and Solanum pennellii access ‘LA-716’, and two Solanum lycopersicum lines: Redenção and RVTM08. For the estimation of the base temperature (Tb) for nodes emission and plastochron, assessments of gas exchange, analysis of growth and divergence study, were evaluated six wild accesses (‘AF 26970’, ‘LA-1401’, ‘AF 19684’, ‘PI-127826’, ‘PI-134417’ and ‘LA-716’) and the cultivate commercial Redenção, together with their interspecific hybrids. The acess ‘LA-1967’, in addition to shown to be self-incompatible, showed low viability of pollen grains and promoted in most hybrid crosses, both when used as female parent, as male, the formation of seedless fruits. The accesses ‘AF 26970’, ‘LA-1401’ e ‘AF 19684’ and lines Redenção and RVTM08 showed the best behavior reproductive as female parents. Generally, the rate of fixation of crosses, the number of seeds per fruit, stigma receptibilidade and pollen grains viabilit also showed great variation between the parents, thus demonstrating the existence of a variety of reproductive behaviors in tomato plants evaluated in the present work. Smaller Tbs were observed for ‘PI-127826’; ‘PI-134417’; ‘Redenção’ x ‘PI-127826’; and ‘Redenção’ x ‘PI-134417’, with values of 5.2; 4.5; 6.3; and 6.4°C respectively. Contrary, to the other genotypes were observed Tb values ranging from 11 to 15ºC. Were observed the highet values of plastochron the HP for ‘LA-1401’, ‘AF 19684’ and ‘LA-716’. For ‘PI-127826’, ‘PI-134417’, ‘Redenção’ x ‘PI-127826’ and ‘Redenção’ x ‘PI-134417’, besides observing the lowest Tb, were observd low values of plastochron, higher photosynthetic yields and transpiration, and increments of leaf area accumulation and dry mass total. Was verified high divergence between species and interspecific hybrids of tomato. In addition, it was possible to observe that of the tomato species evaluated, S. lycopersicum is the one with the greatest genetic dissimilarity and that the interspecific crosses of S. lycopersicum with wild accesses, generate offspring with morphoagronomic and physiological characteristics closer to those of the wild parents. |
