Resumo: The dynamics of the local climate can be influenced by several factors, so, this research had as main goal to analyze a climatic dynamics in the urban area of Guarapuava-Pr with period from December 2015 to November 2016 relating to the type of ground cover. Thus, to identify the main factors influencing the spatialization of rainfall and air temperature. For the development of this study, the map has the objective of dimensioning the urban area, the soil cover and the regional climate dynamics. Afterward, a first analysis of the urban mesh was installed. Equipment for monitoring the temperature and also rainfall. In northwest-southeast and northeast-southwest transects, and still others according to different altitudes and coverings of the city's soil, contemplating peripheral, residential and downtown neighborhoods. The data were collected through a field, in two monthly means. After a collection, these data were tabulated and analyzed in the cabinet. From the observations in the urban area of Guarapuava, an altitude was the main influence in the temperatures in some points of the city, but also a cover of the ground also had its relevance. A pluviometrical precipitation was spatialized according to the relief of the city resulting in the convective rains in the quadrants of the city with higher altimetry heights, and also frontal rains are driven by masses of air not southeast and southwest of the city. Regarding the influence of urbanization, soil cover in rainfall dynamics, no significant significance was observed.
