Resumo em Inglês: This qualification project has as its main purpose to investigate the repertoire of social skills of a group of high school teachers, before and after an intervention, through an awareness project that aimed to emphasize the importance of social skills in teacher-student interpersonal relationships. The group was composed of 6 teachers, who participated in the social skills awareness project, applied by a specialist in the field, graduate of UnB, and a psychologist. The master’s student, author of this qualification project, followed all the steps of the training and the data collection, also he takes the responsibility for the analysis and discussion of them. The training was divided into 6 meetings, in which the Del Prette Inventory (HS) was applied by the psychologist at the beginning and at the end of the intervention. The theoretical framework is based on the conceptualization and description of the educational social skills of Del Prette and Del Prette (1999) and the method used was the intervention research. The results showed that social skills training may be another tool available to assist teachers in their day-to-day in classroom and help them to resolve conflicts in the school environment.
