• Resumo em Inglês: This research aims to investigate the effects of the Basel agreements on the control of banking risks to maintain the stability and health of the National Financial System, from the perspective of risk managers and internal auditors of a national financial institution. Seeking to protect the system of negative results arising from the risks inherent in their activities, Governor, Central Bank of Brazil, coordinates and regulates the implementation of practices and methodologies disclosed in the Basel agreements. Thus, they will discuss the stages of strategic planning and risk management in the Brazilian financial institutions.
