Resumo: |
Knowing discourses come to life in social practices and living in a country immersed in patriarchal and misogynistic conceptions, discussing the discursive constructions on the female being, through Literature, seems quite healthy and necessary. This work proposes to research the works Bisa Bia, Bisa Bel, by Ana Maria Machado, and A Bolsa Amarela (The Yellow Purse), by Lygia Bojunga, the different discourses that characterize the feminine being mainly based on the voices of the female protagonists Isabel and Raquel. As for theoretical references we will use: Mikhail Bakhtin (2020), Peter Hunt (2010), Lígia Cadermatori (1987), Marisa Lajolo (2003), Regina Zilberman (2003), Leonardo Arroyo (2011), Antonio Hohfeldt (2006), Nelly Novaes Coelho (1995), Simone de Beauvoir (2009), Heloísa Buarque de Holanda (2019), Cecil Zinani (2015), among others. The dialogical analysis of language serves as the theoretical support which will allow us to develop this research. We will be guided by Mikhail Bakhtin and his work Theory of the Novel, mainly. In order to facilitate the understanding on how Bakthinian concepts materialize in literary text, we resort to the Alastair Renfrew and Dóris Cunha studies. The reflections by Peter Hunt and those by Lígia Cadermatori, will be used as a theoretical reference for Children's Literature in a broad sense, providing universal approaches. Marisa Lajolo, Regina Zilberman, Leonardo Arroyo and Antonio Hofeldt supported questions relating to Brazilian Children's Literature, making it possible to focus on the boom it achieved in the 1970s when the generation of authors such as Lygia Bojunga Nunes and Ana Maria Machado were part of, ta period in which the works A Bolsa Amarela (1976) and Bisa Bia, Bisa Bel (1981) were written. The studies of Simone de Beauvoir and those by Heloísa Buarque de Holanda, will contribute critically to the analyzes regarding gender issues. Cecil Zinani will be used from studies on gender in Brazilian children's literature. This research is of a bibliographic and qualitative nature and its general objective is to reflect on the discursive representations of the feminine being in Children's Literature, based on the works A Bolsa Amarela (the yellow purse) and Bisa Bia, Bisa Bel. The specific objectives are:(i) to investigate the language literature exposed, identifying elements that characterize Literature Brazilian Children and Youth from the 1970s; (ii) identify, select and analyze textual elements that deal with gender issues; and, finally, (iii) analyze, based on mainly from the voices of the protagonists Raquel and Izabel, discursive traits that debate gender issues, focusing on being feminine in its process of image, representation and identity. From the studies carried out and writing this dissertation, we will realize that the corpus of analysis can become a rich tool for critical reading among the public children and youth. |
