Resumo: The present paper has as its theme the pedagogical importance of memory spaces as a non-formal teaching resource in the cultural education of adolescents, with emphasis on justice memorials. The research problem consisted of the need to expand knowledge about the relevance of the activity per-formed by the Judiciary. It presents discussions about the themes of memory and education, as well as the concepts of heritage education and non-formal education. The central objective of the study is to analyze the Memorial da Justiça as a didactic resource for the construction of a political culture for young people. It presents discussions on the themes of memory and education, as well as approaches concepts of heritage education and non-formal education. It also seeks to understand the teaching process about the Judiciary, emphasizing the need to preserve the historical memory of the institution. It also aims to confirm the hypothesis about the relevance of the didactic-pedagogical use of the justice memorial. The study is motivated by the need to expand the quality of information about the Judiciary, with memorials being important means to contribute to this understanding. Using a qualitative ap-proach, the theoretical structural basis was produced and a case study will be carried out with data collection in semi-structured interviews with public school faculty and direct observation of a visit to the memorial of justice in Pernambuco. The research product will be a video documentary.
