Resumo: | Solidarity and the practice of social inclusion evidenced by the Catholic Church were always premises directed to social interests aimed at human promotion. In this work, we study ways of actuating and materializing truly inclusive education, as well as analyzing how the Church's Social Doctrine assists in the rescue of people living in situations of social, physical, emotional and cognitive vulnerability. In this perspective, as an example of concrete action, we present the Pro-Child Movement, which is an institution that comes from the Catholic Church, in response to its own proposition to make "option for the poor" using the "see, judge and act" method. Studying the institution, initially from the perspective of action of its founders, we made an approach on the relationship between religion, solidarity and art, that generates social impacts in the lives of hundreds of people as an effective reality, coming from the initiatives of an affiliated institution to the Catholic Church, which has made itself available to the poor. Next, we analyze three similar institutions to the MPC, through the comparative method, to know the Christian and social methodologies applied by them, aiming at the human development process, the reception and non-differentiation of children and young people with diverse religious beliefs and having art as one of the main pillars of these entities. We also analyze the interaction between beneficiaries, socialization, knowledge construction and ethical values, as inclusive education proposes. This is a clear demonstration of the Church's responsibility to the social so that it can reach its ultimate purpose, which is the spiritual aspect. In order to achieve our objective, we have recourse to the works of several authors and to official documents of the Church that deal with the theme on canvas, having as main reference, the encyclical Rerum Novarum. |
