Resumo: Recognizing the quality of water and discovering ways to reduce its consumption is a matter of survival, however, until recently "The Blue Planet" considered an inexhaustible good, has become, today social equity, something to be saved under the plastic risks in the supply of the of large citiesin accordance with portfolio nº 2914 of 12/12/2011 of the Ministry of Healf. The choice of this problem situation, one of the researchers ' greatest concerns about the future of mankind, is related to the role that water represents to society. For that reason, the main goal of this work is to make students aware of the minimization of water consumption treated by harnessing rainwater for non-drinkable use with the creation of a cistern, which corroborate a teaching and learning methodology, that valuable support and possibility the realization of the connection between mathematics and the concrete. Aware that any object in the world has height, width and depth and that the importance of relating the contents (Applicability of mathematics through the teaching of spatial geometry from the geometric solids and especially with regard to the graphic expression of the forms and their relations) the student's day to day is an action primordial, which must Be mediated by the teacher effectively, since, nowadays In the full century of knowledge, right factor indispensable, it is fundamental to the development of the student's reasoning, because that intervention generates possibilities and transfigures in order that the students mean the palpable.
