Resumo: This research investigates the approach between art and technology through the study of creative processes related to experimental digital lutherie. Taking into account the concepts of game and apparatus from Vilém Flusser Theory, as well as the concept of open object from the work of Gilbert Simondon, the research aims to analyses the intrinsic aspects related to the creation of musical instruments in contemporary art. The results point out that the creative work carried out by the luthier of experimental instruments has a handmade characteristic which, nevertheless, uses industrialized components as preliminary material. Within this creative context, the luthier explores permutation procedures using standard electronic components, seeking to achieve unique aesthetic results. Starting from this game of combinations, the luthier of experimental instruments integrates art and technology in an instance guided by the aesthetic valuation of the object in order to reach the opening point that allows him to comprehend the technological object as something asymmetrical, singular and adjustable to the meaning he desires to produce.
