Resumo: |
This research has as main object of analysis the Continued Formation Program of Education Professionals developed by the Municipal Education Department of Rio Claro City SME, in the period 2009-2012, whose focus was shifting to the school unit, as a space for reflection and self-training of professionals who work there. The goal, in turn, is to analyze this program from the perspective of different agents involved in the process: external advisors hired, school units and the SME team from Rio Claro, showing contributions and perceived challenges. The choice of the object and goal setting are due to my work with the SME, while Director of the Pedagogical Department, a position that allowed me to participate in the entire process of designing and implementing that Program. Based on the main theories concerning the continued formation of educators, sought to put the proposal of the Continued Formation Program in his experience. Therefore, within a qualitative approach was used methodological procedures for data collection involving documentary analysis (presented by Educational Units reviews about work, reports from advisers who accompanied the construction of the political-pedagogical schools) and analysis of news conference with members of the Centre for Pedagogical Improvement - CAP, who participated in the whole process. The literature on the subject of the research showed that there is a declining trend in offering courses with traditional views, opening up space for the development of continuing education originated from the demands presented by educators, that takes into account the specificity of the training process from the perspective of professional development and is linked to the school project. The empirical research, in turn, demonstrated that the incentive for participation was the greatest contribution of the program and organization of the time the biggest challenge to confront. |
