The objective of this study was to evaluate the treatment results when the stabilization (Michigan-type) splint was used, in patients with orfacial pain, who were seeking treatment in the Occlusion clinical at the Faculty of Dentistry of PUCRS, using the RDC/TMD, and associate some variables among the results found. The methods employed were the RDC/TMD, a stablished method for research in this área, and also a pain follow-up questionnaire three months after the beginning of treatment.
