Resumo: |
The purpose of this paper is to analyze whether the textbooks used for teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language predict, in their writings and activities, the feeling the speaking by students. The need for this analysis comes from the observation that it is important for a learner of Portuguese as a second language to understand that language teaching is much more than vocabulary and grammar, but that the learner understands the meaning of the language, which is intrinsic in speech. Through the Theory of Argumentation in Language by Oswald Ducrot, Marion Carel and other employees, we intend to use its third phase of development, the Semantic Theory of Blocks to perform this analysis. This semantic theory is distinguished from other semantic theories because it considers that the direction is argumentative and is in the language. The books of the Portuguese Language for foreigners analyzed are the most used in PLE courses available in the market. The application of the analysis by the Theory of Semantic Blocks will show the texts and interpretations collaborate effectively to the development of the field of English as a second language. |
