Resumo: |
This work consists of an investigation of diagnostic character about a particular school reality. The survey was conducted in a public school of Gravataí-RS, and the participants were three classes of the early years of elementary school and their teachers. It is a study of case based on the collection of data through observation and semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed based on the theory of Content Analysis (Bardin, 2010) interviews and Proposal of Training of Readers of Literature (Baldi, 2009) - observations - intertwined with the guidelines of the National Curriculum Parameters (2007). The central issue was: How the work with the Children's Literature is developed (or not) during the period formally allocated to literacy? The objectives of the research are: a) Observe the reading practices of Children's Literature given to students by literacy teacher; b) Check the teacher's role as a mediator of the initial reader formation of the student; c) Analyze practices observed from the theoretical assumptions established. As a result of the materials collected and analyzed, it was possible to think about the short supply of reading literature in the rooms in which lessons were observed , motivated by several reasons and circumstances, however the lack of preparation of teachers and the lack of priority on working with literature were the most recurrent reasons. This result indicates a need to work and think and investigate more issues concerning training of readers as well as the training of teachers in the early years of elementary school. |
