This dissertation aims to understand, prove and develop the ecclesiology of the people of God in the light of the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium. Perceiving the ecclesiology that supports the Exhortation, the ecclesiology of the people of God, can support the reform of the "Church on exit" missionary from the riches that this concept gained strength at Vatican II and the Latin American teaching. The Second Vatican Council changed the Church's direction to reconfigure ecclesiology by the ideas of "mystery" and "people of God". Overcame a more legal nature of ecclesiology. The ecclesiology of the Council was received creatively for God's people in Latin America, developed and proposed by theology and by local bishops. The Conference of Latin American Bishops, from Medellin to Aparecida document, bring innovative and concrete contributions to evangelization. This Latin American ecclesiology was instrumental in ecclesiological conception of Evangelii Gaudium. Proving this influence, this work exposes and develops the ecclesiology of the people of God from theological and pastoral proposals of Pope Francisco. The ecclesiology of themes developed from the Evangelii Gaudium contributions are: 1) The mystery of the Church in Evangelii Gaudium. 2) The Church of the Word. 3) The witness of the Church. 4) The people of God acts in the manner of historical sacrament of salvation. 5) The common priesthood of the baptized and charisms. 6) The poor church of the poor. And, 7) God's people is a missionary of God's kingdom.
