Resumo: After the mobile revolution, the phenomenon of artificial intelligence and an increasing number of internet-connected devices (Internet of Things) have resulted in people changing their behavior both in socializing and living physical spaces. This dissertation developed an exploratory analysis on the topics of research and the possibility of using the voice assistants, embedded in intelligent speakers from the assistant Amazon Alexa, present on the Echo device, and the Google Assistant, present on the Google Home device. The theoretical framework was based on authors who approach the phenomenon of mobility and the ubiquitous Internet, such as Mitchell, Manovich and Pellanda. Given the initial adoption of the use of intelligent speaker devices in Brazil, the research opted to analyze the production of international and national scientific articles focused on the two devices, in order to understand which topics are being addressed by the field, what are the future possibilities of study and what is the current state of Brazilian research about these objects. The work highlights an increasing interest of scientific production within this field and the need to deepen studies on the interaction of users with these devices, as well as the importance of conducting empirical experiments for a more detailed understanding of this process. There is a great opportunity for research, and problems to be discussed in the field of conversational voice interfaces. In addition, the need to develop multidisciplinary scientific production within research themes is pointed out, in order to enable richer and more detailed discussions on complex problems in the field of human-machine relationship. It was possible to identify a large incidence of papers that study data security and surveillance issues, what raises discussions regarding legislation and a critical approach at the privacy aspects of the user. The Brazilian research is in an initial stage due to the adoption of the use, since the devices are not yet officially sold in the country. However, it is already possible to find some initial works starting from an empirical experimentation, which shows that production on the matter tends to grow in the coming years.
