Partido dos trabalhadores : a influência da práxis na identidade interna

Resumo: This study aims to verify whether there is a relationship between praxis and identification with the left-wing most positions within the Partido dos Trabalhadores (Workers Party, PT). Having as reference for analysis dialectical materialism, especially the studies from Gramsci on the construction of world concepts and hegemony, our hypothesis is that the relationship exists, and that individuals who have greater wealth in collective activities have greater tendency to assume a speech and left-wing thinking, that to legitimize itself first needs to deconstruct the immediate code of explanation and interpretation of reality. In contrast, those with few collective experiences not only tend to suffer greater influence of the discourse of common sense, but also take you into the party. This would help to understand the passage of PT from the left-wing to the center of the brazilian political spectrum, relating changes in the internal life of the party and the significant decrease in militancy spaces with more moderate policies of PT and its governments. We applied one hundred and nine questionnaires and conducted semistructured interviews with 21 members of the PT in Porto Alegre. We found that the affiliates who have a higher level of praxis (in which we classify as militants and affiliated with praxis) expressed placements that in our previous systematic, considered as leftist. Meanwhile, the affiliates who have lower level of praxis (we call pure affiliated) proved far these positions
