Resumo: |
The study examines the work of social workers in the process of advising. The general objective was to reflect on the theoretical and operational contributions of social workers in the process of consultation with the public social policies in terms of their qualifications, attuning them to the challenges faced in ensuring social rights. This is a quantitative and qualitative research, guided by the critical-dialectical method. To respond to the advisory process has been seized and operated by social workers within the public social policies, bibliographic search was done on advice in the area of Social Work, whose sources: books, papers and graduate Annals of the main events category (CBAS, ENPESS); documentary research materials (plan and reports) produced during the process of counseling conducted by the University of Caxias do Sul to the managing agency of social assistance policy of the city of Caxias do Sul (locus of empirical research) and field research, through interviews with the subjects of that process participants advice. In the treatment of the data was carried out content analysis based Bardin (1977). As the main results of the study highlighted the importance of ethical-political appropriation theoretical-methodological and technical advisor to discuss the operational, mobilize and enhance professional practice and / or social participation of individuals in the defense and realization of social rights. Also, this work stands out orders studies, surveys, group discussions, improvement and continuous upgrading to achieve the proposed objectives and provide collective learning, both of assisted as advisors. Also noteworthy is that the research pointed out the relevance of the advisory process for qualifying technical policy of social workers and social assistance policy in Caxias do Sul Based on these results, we conclude that the work of social workers in the process advisory differentiates itself from other professionals due to political and professional leadership from the perspective of building a fairer and less exclusionary of universal access to services, programs, projects and social benefits of public social policies and intransigent defense of social rights |
