Resumo: |
This dissertation is presented within the context of a Creative Writing program and is divided in to two parts: a theoretical work and a work in progress of a fictional narrative. In the first part, I present a panorama of the main theories that try to explain the devices, the narrative purpose and the diverse affective powers that characterize the modern novella. In the second part, I present an unpublished novella as a second draft, a stage of a process that seeks the literary work definitive version. After presenting the novella, I reflect on my creative process, as an addendum to the fictional text. |
