Resumo: |
A growing interest of researchers and managers in understanding the phenomena linked to other customers as affecting the consumer experience in the service environment, since the impact generated by other customers exerts a greater influence on the consumption experience than the quality itself the service. Since there is a growing body of work on the influence of other customers, this study investigates how consumers are affected by other customers that are present in the service environment, and how this impact influences repurchase intention and word of mouth positive. For this survey was applied to five hundred twenty five consumers. Being that they were asked to remember a consumption experience at a restaurant at most three weeks. Afterwards, the data were analyzed using the set of associated structural equation modeling techniques. The results it was found that when consumers receive positive emotions "Approach", their intentions to spread positive word of mouth is confirmed. Besides increasing their intention to return to the same restaurant. On the other hand when these consumers receive negative emotions "Avoidance" by other customers, this relationship can not be confirmed. From this evidence one can assume that the behavior of other customers is a strong predictor for future behavior intentions, this because this behavior have direct influence on service environments. |
