This dissertation, inserted in the Creative Writing area, presents a set of poems entitled A mão que treme and a theoretical essay about the creative process of the literary text, especially in poetry, thinking of this process as a constant journey. Thus, guided by some basic theoretical references about spaces, process criticism, poetic creation and metalanguage, the objective of this work is to understand the creative movement in writing by drawing a panorama about the connection and the displacement of the writer through different spaces during his creative process: physical spaces, such as home, office and city; the space of creation and the space of language, passing all through the inner space of the creative being in his search for identity and self-knowledge.
