Resumo: |
The present study is an analysis of speeches on the social network Facebook during the United Nations Conference on Environment Rio +20. To the extent that seeks to understand the importance of network communication in contemporary society, the study analyzes the importance of the theme of sustainability today, as well as its spread by social networks. The proposal of to see how contemporary society engages in the cause of sustainability was tested using two different working methods: netnography and discourse analysis. Through speeches on the subject, objective was to understand what movements are generated discursively, and wich is the character of these conversations. Although networks allow access to information and connects to each other, that leads us to believe that there isn´t an increase in the effectiveness of the actions related to sustainability. Simply, it's a new space created and made available to launch proposals, generate meetings and mobilize conversations. Therefore, more than a space practices, it constitutes an space of ideas. |
