Resumo: |
This dissertation aims to comprehend how the interdisciplinarity conceptions of a group formed by Science teachers at Canoas district can influence their educational practices. This study was performed with the participation of 22 teachers, in order to get information about their conceptions, as well as their practices considered interdisciplinary by themselves, moreover what are their main difficulties in applying them. The data gathering was given through questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed with a qualitative approach, using Discursive Textual Analysis. Based on the theoretical framework and on the analysis the answers of the interviewees, a lack of clarification was pointed out concerning the forms of disciplinary integrations, mainly related to interdisciplinarity. In the activities described in the interviews, executed by teachers, it was verified that multi-disciplinary practices often are interpreted as interdisciplinary. The difficulties for the construction and implementation of interdisciplinary proposals identified by the survey are: lack of time for planning; resistance of teachers co-workers, families and students; school structure does not encourage, due to the lack of coordination and excessive paperwork; insufficient training of teachers, making them feel unprepared to interdisciplinary practice. In face of the survey results, viable possibilities can be found for interdisciplinary work in schools, such as educating through inquiry, as a way to the teacher guide his practice pursuant the subjects of interest in the context of his student; the teachers training into the school context, where the role of the school supervisor becomes indispensable and the Communities of Practice can serve as a possibility for integration and creation into the schools. |
