Resumo: |
This dissertation deals with the production of knowledge in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, so it is about the analysis of the bibliographic productions of the Social Work, in the period from 2020 to 2021. To constitute this research, some questions were problematized, such as: how the pandemic is being addressed in the production of knowledge in the area of Social Work; considering the conjuncture and social, political and economic determinations, how the Social Work is discussing the implications and changes resulting from the pandemic; how the professional category is debating the challenges and pointing out possibilities for coping and resistance in the face of the pandemic context. In order to answer the aforementioned questions, the research was based on the historical-dialectical materialist method, outlined by Marx's critical social theory, which made it possible to analyze social reality through historical interpretations and social transformations. In this way, the approach to the pandemic relates to essential categories of the method, namely: historicity, totality, contradiction, and mediation. The study was characterized by a qualitative approach, based on bibliographic research, the sources for data collection were the magazines Serviço Social & Sociedade and Temporalis. Based on the inclusion criteria, 14 productions were selected for the analysis corpus of this dissertation. The results showed the approach to the pandemic related to denialism and the intensification of the crisis of capitalism, in relation to the implications and changes resulting from the pandemic, the analyzed production gives visibility to the precariousness of work and the dismantling of social policies, and still, we found that the bibliographic productions of the Social Work have demonstrated the need to build collective strategies and reaffirm the professional Ethical-Political Project to face and resist the context of a pandemic. |
