Resumo: |
This master's research aims to contribute to the expansion of knowledge among pedagogical coordinators, as well as teachers and researchers in the field of Inclusive Education. Its central theme encompasses challenges that the Pedagogical Coordinator faces in the elementary education regarding inclusive education. The objective is to identify the challenges that the Pedagogical Coordinator (PC) faces in their work at a municipal school in São Paulo/SP concerning issues related to children with disabilities. More specifically, the study intends to identify the role of the PC in addressing demands arising from issues related to inclusive education among teachers, and to understand their formative context. As a method for gathering information, a reflective interview was conducted alongside the critical incident strategy. Data analysis and discussion were based on André's prose analysis (1983). The main theoretical framework of this research draws on contributions from Wallon (1986), complemented by Almeida (2004), Mahoney (2004), Prandini (2019), Placco, and Souza (2019). The findings underscore the need for broader discussions and potential interventions regarding inclusive education demands, as well as the urgency for specific teacher training to support their work with children with disabilities. Furthermore, they highlight the role of pedagogical coordinators as articulators, trainers, and life changers within the school environment |
