Resumo: |
The discussion regarding personal intelligence and formal education is frequent in the international and national level. According to this scenario, the objective of this study is, on the authority of Howard Gardner, to carry out a systematization of scientific production on the subject, in order to observe the facets of study and the gaps that would deserve to be the focus of new studies. Search words related to personal intelligence were used, which were inserted in the SciELO and PePSIC databases. Articles that met the inclusion criteria were selected, and the period considered was from 2009 to 2019. 142 abstracts of articles were analyzed, divided between international and national articles. The results identify that there is a peak of publication in 2014 in national and international productions, as well as a tendency of increasement throughout the period, most of the themes are directed to interpersonal intelligence. There is also a concentration of studies for elementary and higher education. Thus, it is indicated that future researchers should direct their research to studies on intrapersonal intelligence, students in early childhood and high school, and studies that address the various actors of formal education, such as parents, teachers and students. This review is expected to contribute to future publications on the topic |
