Resumo: |
This research aimed at analizying the affections system of participants of a socioeducative group from the Programa Fortalecendoa Família - PFF (Strengtheningthe Family Program), carried out in the city of São Paulo from October 2002 to December 2003. The study was based on the theoretical framework of the Socio-Historical Psychology, which conceives man as a historical individual that affects and is affected in the encounter with the other. We sought to examine the relationship and the implication established between the members of the groups and the way they were affected by the participation after five reaIS of the experience. We carried out a case study with a representative sample of four women who took part of the group "Amigas Cidadãs", based on the following procedures: analysis of archiyal information, individual interview and group conversation. For analyzing the data, we adopted the method of the subtext analysis by Vygotsky, which indicated three time dimensions in the women's experience of participation. The first moment corresponds to the time before the meetings, in which . feelings such as fear, sadness, shame and isolation permeated the participants' public and private lives. The second moment, when the participants were inserted in the space of the meetings and there was a transition from indifference to the establishment of relations of intimacy and safety, corresponds to the moment in which the meetings had the meaning of friendship and mutual help, representing, for each member, multiple meanings, such as: a place to talk, to confide with others, to face problems and to leam. The third moment refers to the current life and to the relation established between the past and the present, in which i the changes are linked to the personal sphere, revealing feelings and attitudes such as: feeling unashamed to talk, permitting no humiliation by others, facing the situations, feeling encouraged to fight and being sensitive with the suffering of others. In the family sphere, it is noticed a change in the women's sociability as "mothers", since they leamed how to talk and to be patient with their children, and how to face their problems. It was concluded that the group represented an experience of good encounters which promoted joyful passions, providing pleasure and mobilizing the need for others as an experience of joy and friendship, but it did not mean a subjective revolution towards the self - determination of the women and the expansion of the historical individual. The meetings are seen as a sort of therapeutic aid, which dealt with the passions by strengthening the joyful afies and weakening the sad afies. However, it did not overcome the sphere of intimacy to provoke these passions to the public experience. It was noticed a predominant regressive trend in the experience of participation, which only lasted during the period in which the group was accompanied by the programo The implications of the experience indicate the reaffirmation of the household and intimate aspects in the family sphere, thus highlighting the strengthening of women in the family relationship and, consequently, her position as a manager ofthe family group |
