Resumo: This qualitative research aims to analyse the perception of coordinators working at the Public Education System of the state of São Paulo about the Resolution Seduc 3, 11 January 2021. Production of information used a reflexive interview with two coordinators working with junior high school years. Texts by researchers in teacher and pedagogical coordinator training were used to fundament our reflections, such as Almeida, Canário, Fernandes, Placco and Pereira. The “O Coordenador Pedagógico” book collection, by Edições Loyola, was also a source of information. The coordinators statements showed a discrepancy towards the knowledge and ownership of Resolution Seduc 03/21. Both participants also refer to the excessive number of tasks attributed to them at school, which hinders the development of their training role. Thus, they have difficulties to take over training demands to improve teachers’ engagement. They attribute the number of daily activities to challenging and conflictive situations that are inherent to the management of collective work
