Resumo: |
Education in the prevention of crime and in the resocialization of reeducated students demonstrates that knowledge informs and transforms people into being less likely to commit a crime, since knowledge prevents the practice of crime, recidivism and points out the consequences that the act entails for the re-educated, family and society. Education as a liberating instrument for people deprived of liberty, will provide knowledge and development, since, knowing their rights, they will be able to become better people every day and to learn to respect the rights of others. The penalty applied to inmates as a model of prevention has its genesis in the social pact as a way of removing the continuous state of war and being able to enjoy freedom in society with security and tranquility. The fundamental rights of prisoners and the immutable clause protected by the Constitution points out that these values are above any ideology and does not disappear with prison, above all the dignity of the human person. The resocialization and social reintegration of the reeducated ones to return to society after serving their sentence, the community will return, because before losing their freedom, they were part of it. The awareness for change will be an indispensable tool for the defense and enjoyment of rights and to remove the condition of object and invisibility, which has already existed even before incarceration when they were deprived of the realization of minimum rights, therefore, resocialization and awareness will be essential for returning to society and warding off recidivism. Education in the transformation of prisoners and reading in prison will be instruments of social ascension, whose implementation of education in prisons allows the remission of the sentence and benefits the whole society by reducing violence and social peace, in addition to the realization of the dignity of the human person and citizenship |
