Resumo: |
It is intended to approach here part of Julio Cortázar's literary production based on the concept of the Gadamerian game. This study will seek to unveil a new possibility of updating subjective existence based on Cortázar's readings. Accordingly this work will search for gadamerian elements in O jogo da Amarelinha, and compare the novels potentialities with Gadamer's proposal for the appreciation of an art work. It is evident that, literary narratives may envelops the reader to the point of transforming its existence, updating, so to say, its being. There is, in Cortázar's novel, what Gadamer will call the fusion of horizons and which considers the relationship between the reader as an inhabitant of the world and art work itself as possible means to interpret the world, that is, an interaction between at least two world possibilities. This was indicated by Gadamerian proposal of a game intrinsic to the narratives development |
