Resumo: This thesis focuses on school administration and studies a set of summaries of school management plans in the state of São Paulo. The main objective is to identify in the selected documentary corpus the amount of 70 school units items that contemplate the analysis of the school organization. The theoretical bias of the thesis is the critical theory of society, especially with regard to the formation of the individual and technological rationality. The choice of this material is due to the fact that the school management plans are available on the website of one of the 91 teaching directorates of the São Paulo state network. In addition, it brings light to an exciting topic, since it consists of school records that say a lot about the organization of the school, which allows analysis with quality and clarity. The investigation showed objectively the presence of models of administration, bureaucracy and technological rationality in school spaces. Through a methodological approach to content analysis. From the adopted procedures it was possible to realize that adaptation, regression and progress are elements that define the education policy in the midst of administration and the obstacles to the formation of the individual
