Resumo: |
This research was inspired by the recurrent references to a "good public school" in Belo Horizonte that existed or that there has been - for some people still is - the high school named Escola Estadual Governador Milton Campos or Colégio Estadual Central. It was started by the supposition that diffent groups of actors in the school educational process - students, teachers, educational managements - construct a common capital (representation) on a "good school" and that this common capital can be recognized as "thuth" , incoporated and perceived as the reality itself. The concept of social representation developed by Moscovici and the concept of representations, habitus and capital developed by Bourdieu were essencial for he understanding of the reality. In a first moment, the way of the investigation was centralized in the apprehension of the different representations of what is called a "good school". In a second one, in the comprehension of the various aspects of the "good school" presented. And from this point on, there was an attemptive of understanding the perspective from which the actors define what a "good school" is, or rather in which basements it is built. This exercise has allowed, finally, a intercross of data which points that among the actors of the same group there is a convergence of at least 50% of the representations on a "good school" and a clear divergence among the groups. The representations are not centred on a former school and present as qualifiers of a good school: the symbolic, cultural, social and economic capitals |
