The aim of this work is to identify some linguistic resources used in a face to face interaction process during conversation. So, we used the oral language from Plínio Marcos' fiction dialogue as corpus, Navalha na Carne, and we applied the same methodology used before in order to analyse spontaneous speech. The basis of the research was The Analysis of Conversation, however, Sociolinguistics is also used. Based on theoretical perspective, we observed how the planning and replanning possibilities, the building of knowledge, the treatment forms, the social status, the power indexes, as well as the reasons that can lead to the loss and maintenance of face were used during communication so that the interaction would succeed
