Resumo: Considering that advances in digital technology have promoted several changes in the communication field , such as the decline of the means of mass communication and the emergence of individualized forms of production and distribution of content such as podcasting , this research proposes to study the constitution of the " Nerdcast " , the site podcast " Young Nerd " through the process criticism, from the analysis of the following pillars of the creation process : the knowledge of raw materials and construction procedures used and the productive interactions between producers and users . The proposal is to observe the development over time, establishing relationships between different versions of this podcast. Sales studies are brought in this research in order to consolidate it, from his theory of the process of creating a dialogue with communication scholars in the field of digital media, in which the main reference authors are: Primo, Lemos, Leo and Santaella. In the analysis of creative features, the data are based on Vigil, Balsebre, Ortiz and Marchamalo, Silver, among others. The literature review, the process criticism and the case study were used as the methodology. The analysis material was composed of audio files of the episodes, the content of the graphical interface of the podcast page and the fields reserved for interaction via blog, at different times. We analyzed 300 episodes out of the 380 published so far. In parallel the blog pages were examined observing the configuration of the graphical interface and the present materials on the day that the podcast was released. In order to follow the interaction via blog, the collaborations made by producers and users in the comment windows of the respective episode were recorded. At another time, the contributions or requests made were observed and how these manifestations are reflected in the material form in the audio and in the materials on the podcast page - and in its dynamics. It is concluded from the study that Nerdcast has gone through several transformations caused by technology evolution, but mainly by the process of acquiring knowledge of the producers for the Web 2.0 platform and the search for creative procedures, and that the productive interaction established between producers and users is the key to building Nerdcast, in addition to showing themselves as standard constituent of many podcasts on the network
