The objective of this dissertation is to propose a discussion about the achievements in Public Policies in terms of the attention to domestic and sexual violence against children and adolescents, and to discuss the challenges that can still be found in this area to effectively take care, protect diagnostic and shelter people in this situation. In order to do it, the author was based on the reality of a São Paulo s city, São José dos Campos, where she have had the experience of developing a project of articulation and specialized education for the Network of Integral Attention for children and adolescents. The text presents a brief history of sexual violence against child and adolescent, in its legal, conceptual and social mobilization aspects. After that, the text opens a discussion on public policies, in relation with social networks and the Unified System of Social Assistance (SUAS). This last, for instance, is presented in its different dimensions, where the assistance to sexual violence against children and adolescents is included. Authors such as Hannah Arendt, Zizek, Whitaker, Tschiedel and Brandt, Mynaio, Gabel, Cromberg, Gomes, Faleiros, Sousa, Leal, Libório e Landini are the discussion reference. The experience of São José dos Campos city is narrated by the author, focusing the specialized service of attention to domestic and sexual violence against children and adolescents, grounded on the author s experience and on interviews with different actors from the Children and Adolescents Integral Attention Network. Nine professional and an adolescent were interviewed in order to comprehend how was structuring the city's policy for special protection on the situations of domestic and sexual violence. Accompanied by authors such as Sandór Ferenczi, Motta and Donzelot, author proceeds to the interviews analysis. Finally, this analysis takes to a consideration that, although there have been many important improvements and achievements, there is still significant difficulties in São José dos Campos Attention Network in order to take care integrally of the violence issues against children and adolescents. These difficulties are not exclusively related to the city s particularities, but mostly to the complexity of the issue (sexual violence against children and adolescents) that challenges workers all through the world |
