Resumo: The research reported here describes a qualitative research, which was based in the Theory of Didactic Situations and in assumptions concerning the use of teaching strategies mediated by technologies in geometry. The didactic sequence proposed in this study aims to enable the participants, students in ninth grade of elementary school and first year of high school, to build the concepts of circumference and perpendicular bisector from the point of view of geometric loci. For this, this study used the dynamic geometry software Geogebra. This research work was covered the following phases: first, a diagnostic evaluation, in which we tried to identify what knowledge the students have about geometric loci, what allowed us to develop activities in which students were introduced to everyday situations associated with the circle and the perpendicular bisector as geometric loci. Finally, we applied these concepts in order to promote geometry learning using geometric construction activities that allowed discovering learning difficulties of students. The study allowed us to consider that action mediated by Dynamic Geometry software helped students overcome the problems encountered, which was also favored by the proposed collaborative teaching situations
