Resumo: New parameters in Education have been proposed for some decades now, especially concerning inclusive education. The respect for differences eliminates all forms of inequality concerning disability according to the Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional(LDB) number 9.934/96, article 4, as well as the enactment 3.956 of the Convenção Interamericana of October 8, 2001 approved by the National Congress. The school is therefore a fundamental institution offering education which is appropriate and adapted to each and every student, despite having any special educational needs (SEN) resulting from biological factors. This research was developed in a school which follows such educational principles, admitting all students who come to it, some of whom may have SEN. The objective of this research is to study the impact of the process of teaching-learning of Spanish in this inclusive school, as we believe that the teaching-learning of languages is of great importance for all, once it provides the students with a wide cultural range, broadening their world view and, more importantly, their social relations. The theoretical framework is the Social Historical and Cultural Psychology(Vygotsky, 2001), more specifically the Fundamentals of Defectology (Vygotsky, 1997). The fundamentals of Defectology contribute to the understanding of the intellectual development of the child with disability, supporting the thesis of the learning process and his/her own development. The Social Activity, proposed by Liberali (2009), is also discussed in this research, as it served as basis for the development of the classes taught. Such theory is of great importance for the interaction between students with special needs and the groups which they belong to, contributing to the cognitive development and the autonomy of both as future citizens. This research consists of a qualitative study, as it analyzes and interprets classroom situations. The data consists of recordings of classes for the teaching of Spanish in two groups (7th and 8th grades). After the transcription, the classes were analyzed based on the modes and the categories of argumentation and interpreted according to Vygotsky s theoretical framework. The results of the research reveal that there has been some development in the students teaching-learning, but that there could have been a greater interaction between the students, which would promote a different learning and development of the students
