A gestão escolar nos cursos de pedagogia da cidade de São Paulo: um estudo em três instituições privadas

Resumo: The objective this research was to collect and analyze the curriculum of the pedagogy courses that provide training for the school manager at the universities of São Paulo. We tried to answer the following research problem: what contents are privileged and what themes are worked in the disciplines intended to the training of the school manager in the pedagogy courses? The reference of the critical theory of the society has allowed discussing to what extent the training of the school manager, in the pedagogy courses, provides training that: a) raise the level of clarification of the unconscious contents present in the consciousness of the individuals; b) encourages the possibilities of resistance against the blind accession to the collective; c) strengthens the individual to do not resort solely to the self-preservation; d) offers a enlightening political education of the power relations. Therefore, the formulations of the authors of the Frankfurt School guided this research, since they allow analyzing the process of the training to which the individuals are subjects. As a research procedure, we use the qualitative analysis of the programs of the disciplines with a view to the theoretical training (general) and to the manager training (specific), having as sample the Pedagogical Project of the 3 (three) courses of pedagogy, based at São Paulo city. In them, we note a fixed curriculum, with disciplines of Theoretical Foundation offered in different periods of the Specific Training for the exercise of the management, which does not allow student choose of the best period for getting them, neither a reflection together, beyond extensive contents and restricted hour load. The Pedagogical Projects demonstrate concern with training for the technique required in the labor market and for the instrumentalization of the individual. In some cases, they express a likely approval in public tendering, offering a model of bureaucratic course and not so much democratic. Is preached an education focused in the democratic management; however, the contents and the own experience within the Higher Education Institution does not seem to match such proposal
