Resumo: |
This dissertation aims to analyze how the Veja magazine, recognized national print range, builds youth in their reporting. Initially we discuss the models and parameters that define the category of youth, as well as the crises and ruptures inherent to this phase. The corpus was constituted by reports between 2000 and 2007, who focused on youth from the sub-themes: health, education, occupation and behavior. These are nodal points of meaning guiding determinants of discourse analysis, focussing on the study of communication contracts proposed by the enunciator. The results presented show the standardization of reporting proposed by Veja that meet the interests of a 'dominant' middle class, consuming cultural products according to the economic interests in times of globalization. Thus, the health "going well" in the sense only signal prevention proposals, enhance the well-being and beauty as effects, education is seen as a necessity in the face of endemic problems of culture, highlighting the crucial role of information on of new scenarios, the profession enhances the skills to management models and behavior reveals that there are limits between repression, law and social consumption |
