A formação de professores a partir de suas narrativas de história de vida: estudo de uma experiência em Belém do Pará

Resumo: This study proposes to investigate graduated teachers training / performance from the Training Course for Teachers of the State University of Pará - UEPA. The interest in researching this subject arises from the need to critically analyze the training process that had been developed within the ongoing confrontation with the educational activities accomplished by these professionals in its field of work. From the interpretation of the educational practices of graduated teachers from that course and taking material for the analysis from the historic narrative of personal and professional life of the subjects investigated, I intend to identify indicators that would facilitate a contextualized reflection on issues of training and performance of teachers, in many places where they develop their professional activities. I choose as categories of analysis of my field research, two aspects considered as an ample relevance in the context of this Training Course for Teachers: The teacher researcher s training and the theory and practice in educational activities developed by teachers from this course. I use also as support for my reflections, the documental research, with the main basis for this process, the Pedagogic Project of this Course, from its creation to its extinction. As a former student and a former teacher of this Course, and have observed and have been curious with the process of training the students, as this process is presented, largely detached from pedagogical actions that take place daily in the classroom. This problem has led me to reflect on the training situations that are offered to teachers in higher education institutions in our country and its development in the training process that materialize in the educational experience at the State University of Pará. Thus, based on theoretical references and narratives of life history from the research`s subjects, I search to make a critical and contextualized analysis of this whole process
