Resumo: |
This research aims at describing the violence within the police treatment regarding the youth facing socio-educational measures in liberty in São Paulo, analysing how the youth lives and narrates these violent experiences and how these experiences produce certain vectors of subjectivation. The research was based on the revisitation of the literature of this theme and, more specifically on papers that discuss how the youth facing socio-educational measures in liberty are commonly adressed by the police's violent approaches, that happens with physics and psychological aggressions, humiliation and torture. We've interviewed three juveniles that have already faced socio-educational measures in liberty on their experiences of police violence and the affections that these experiences have produced. The youth's narrative, analyzed in thematic axes, allowed us to trace two dimensions of analysis: one of them regarding the youth's narrative about certain modus operandi of the police and its targets and the way the youth analyses this operation; and the other one is about the affections mobilized and certain vectors of subjectivation shaped by these experiences. Based on the concepts of "incrimination" and "criminal subjection", as defined by Michel Misse, we could see that the police officers take these juveniles as bearers of a criminal subjectivity, as dangerous people, irrecoverable, "thugs". Considered "thugs", any violent action against them is justified and, on the limit, they can be murdered. We did not identify elements of subjectivation process related to the "criminal subjection" condition in the experiences of these three juveniles living under the "incrimination" condition. But, what is clear on the three of them is the effort of elaboration on the traumatic in order to produce some sort of political inscription of their lives |
