A Escola Hospitalar do Hospital A. C. Camargo: uma experiência de humanização narrada por sua fundadora

Resumo: This research is a study that proposed to record the history of the specialized school Schwester Heine, Hospital School of a. c. Camargo Hospital, through the stories of its founder and Director Professor Maria Genoveva pedagogical Vello, using the theoretical methodology of oral history-narrative biography, that aims to arrest the trajectory of historical subjects, which allow you to also know the history of an institution. The interviews were semi-structured roadmaps-driven, the number of interviews was determined by process, through desire, the availability of the narrator and the accumulation of information allowing comparisons in order to stand out divergent and convergent content and contribute to building a historical picture of the institution. The hospital searched school was established in 1987 and is considered a benchmark in the teaching mode for the city of São Paulo. The forms of organization of educational work and the results obtained make this school a model for deploying other schools in other hospitals and support patients oncological treatment. The pedagogical work should adapt to each child, considering the level of education and the requirements of, the physical and emotional condition which is in each classroom, the treatment (inpatient, outpatient, UTI, chemotherapy and radiation therapy) and the appropriateness of teaching instruments. The contents of the narratives revealed the complexity of the process of implementation and maintenance of a school in a hospital, as well as advances and overruns that this field of teaching, still under construction, has been reached
