Resumo: |
This work deals with the analysis of the work with dreams and its amplifications by patients in a situation of incurable oncological disease living an anticipatory mourning from the return of tumors and prolonged treatment with palliative care. We started from the premise of a qualitative analysis where the instruments used were a semi-structured interview and from one to twenty-five meetings. The dreams were recorded in a table where the structure of the dreams proposed by Jung was taken into account for an analysis of the symbolic dynamics present in the series of dreams. Thus, through dreams and the expressive resource of the drawing, it was possible to access emotions and experiences that promoted a better elaboration of the illness process and enabled a psychic well-being in eighty percent of the participants |
