Resumo: Digital transformation has been a driving force behind changes in various sectors of society. This revolution, driven by the rapid evolution of information and communication technologies, has redefined the way people interact, do business, and relate to the world. In this context, the adoption of cryptocurrencies and digital currencies has become popular around the globe, even leading to important financial operations in different countries. The rise of crypto assets and their operationalization through crypto exchanges have redefined the boundaries of investment and asset management, becoming a topic of undeniable relevance to both the financial sector and society in general. Based on this scenario, this study seeks to understand and analyze the revolution of cryptocurrency-based financial products in Brazil, with an emphasis on the experiences of the main crypto exchanges in the country. For the development of this research, the bibliographic review method was initially applied, seeking in the literature theoretical basis and contextualization for the case study carried out; Next, a qualitative analysis was carried out that sought to understand the perceptions, motivations and challenges faced by stakeholders in the cryptocurrency market and served to analyze statistical data and market trends. It was concluded that the cryptocurrency revolution in Brazil is underway, with the population digitally connected and with the entry of major financial players, such as XP Inc. and BTG. Cryptocurrency adoption is advancing, but it faces challenges, including regulation, transparency, and risk management. Competition in the cryptocurrency market is increasing, with new entrants and traditional institutions entering the industry. Cryptocurrencies and non fungible tokens are seen as viable alternatives to physical cash, promoting the exchange of digital value.
