Resumo: |
This dissertation, which roots in a work of scientific initiation, presents a debate about the challenges that characterize the process of researching the issues of remembering and forgetting. The goal was to exhibit the achieved results by analyzing two studies on the problem of memory, specifically with people who are homeless in the city of São Paulo; and also problemate some of the central points that underlie this same construction, which path was engendered around concerns (concerns of theoretical and methodological orientation, but also undoubtedly ethical-political) about the relationship between forgetting and memory . In other words, we propose to the reader, based on the Psychology’s social-historical theory, an exposition of the conflicts, controversies and dilemmas experienced by the researcher who takes the issue of memory as the object of study, without forgetting the ethical basis. and the political task that shapes this type of research, that is: the problem of memory, forgetfulness and transmissibility of narratives of the “forgotten” and “excluded” from the official historical discourse. More specifically, I was concerned with the human activities of remembering and forgetting - with groups that live in borderline situations, in territories that are prone to the separation of man and nonman, such as the street and the experience of rualization. I begin the research with a brief historical-critical background on how the issues mentioned here figure in classical philosophical and scientific texts, especially those of Western culture. Later, I articulate some reflections on this theme, associating it to the narrative issue from Walter Benjamin’s perspective. Finally, I present the theoretical and methodological assumptions that guide the analyzes performed |
