Resumo: |
Considering reading as the main means of social insertion in the most varied literate practices, we developed this study inserted in the research line of Reading, Writing and Teaching of Portuguese Language, of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, with the goal of investigating, from a reading and literacy project, to what extent Portuguese teachers are able to contribute to improve the reading comprehension of mathematical statements. Because it is a study dedicated to the interpretation of social actions, it is based on the methodology of the case study, built based on the observation and description of a phenomenon in a specific context, in which it is sought to contribute to the development of a teaching practice Reflective, according to Gil (1991), Freire (1996), André (2005), Shön (1992) and Alarcão (2003). In order to achieve the desired goal, we seek support in the theoretical construct of Social Interactionism and Sociodiscursive Interactionism, in addition to several authors of different approaches to reading and literacy, among which we highlight: Bronckart (1999, 2004), Schneuwly & Dolz, (2004), Red (2004, 2009,2010), Red and Moura (2012), Oliveira (2010), Antunes (2003), Geraldi (2003), Possenti (2008), Cavalcante (2013), Solé (1998), Marcuschi (2003, 2008), Soares (2003), Street (2014) Fazenda and Godoy (2014), Kleiman (1998, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2013), Kleiman and Moraes (1999). With the studies carried out, we realized that investing in literacy projects from the reading of textual genres, with interdisciplinary bias, may favor interactions with greater production of meaning for the formation of critical readers in the most diverse sociocultural practices |
