Resumo: |
The inclusion of transgender people in the labor market is a crucial issue to guarantee equal opportunities and the full exercise of their citizenship. However, these people face significant obstacles due to discrimination and prejudice present in society. In this context, affirmative actions emerge as an essential strategy to overcome such barriers and promote the inclusion of these individuals. This study explores the need to implement affirmative actions, such as quotas, at the national level, aiming at the insertion of transgender people in the labor market. Through this approach, we seek to ensure equal opportunities and the construction of gender identity for these individuals. Affirmative actions must be accompanied by training, awareness and sensitization policies, both for employers and for society in general. Understanding the importance of diversity and adopting inclusive practices are key to creating a welcoming and safe work environment for transgender people. It is necessary to emphasize that quotas are not definitive measures, but rather temporary, with the purpose of correcting historical inequalities and promoting equal opportunities. In addition, the implementation of quotas must be accompanied by broader public policies, seeking equity in all spheres of society. By promoting the inclusion of transgender people in the labor market, through affirmative action, we are contributing to building a more egalitarian society, where everyone has the chance to develop their potential, build their gender identity and freely develop their personality in society. pursuit of happiness. Overcoming existing barriers is essential to ensure full citizenship for these individuals and to promote a just and inclusive society |
